Mahjong nights now available on Monday (starting on June 29) and Tuesday nights for the rest of summer! Thank you to everyone that has been coming and supporting us. I hope you all are having as much fun as we are!

Our volunteer mahjong instructor Stephen Hamano will be available for teaching on both days unless otherwise specified on Resy. Please let us know if you are a beginner and please arrive promptly at 5:00PM for instructions.

Open play mahjong starts at 5:00 so feel free to come in at any time to play. There are tables for 3 fan players, gaiwoo (0 points) and you can even do 1 fan or 2 if your whole table agrees. Really up to you!

Please RSVP through Resy and let us know in the notes whether you need instructions and approximate time of arrival so we can better seat everyone. This past Tuesday we've had quite a few no-shows so please let us know if you can't make. Not a big deal, we want to give the seats away to others. Walk ins are welcome as there will also be some tables reserved for you in case you decide you'd like to come last minute!

 

We've recently added an automatic mahjong table available first come, first serve for three 1-hour segments during Mahjong Nights although we haven't been able to enforce this, so sorry for the inconvenience! If you would like to come play and use the automatic table during other times (non-Mahjong nights), it is available for use at $75 for a 3 hour window. Please send me an email to info@bellyuptown.com to reserve the table. ​​If you would like to host any mahjong events for a special occasion or even if you would like to use a table during non-Mahjong Nights, feel free to also let me know.
